The EULiST Local Office at URJC is organising a matchmaking event to encourage research proposals and institutional collaboration within the Alliance on topics related to Sustainability.
The event will be hosted on October 1st and 2nd, with two objectives: firstly, to bring together researchers from the EULiST Alliance working in the field of sustainability (as well as with companies); and secondly, to make the most of this networking opportunity to hold an event where you can present your project ideas, with a view to fostering the creation of consortia for the submission of proposals to European funding programmes.
The event will take the form of a presentation of various project ideas across different thematic areas. The session will begin with an introductory round-table discussion, after which interested participants will split into different breakout rooms or workspaces to analyse the potential of each idea, identify possible synergies, and explore the formation of consortia that will enable these ideas to be transformed into European project proposals.
The deadline for submitting your proposal ideas is July 15th.
You can find specific information about the event, as well as the calls for proposals it is aimed at, via the following link: Matchmaking Event.
We would be pleased to welcome researchers interested in participating. At URJC, we will seek to create an appropriate environment involving agencies, consultancy firms, companies, officers, and research groups from different universities and Alliances, with the aim of facilitating the development of potential project proposals. In addition, it would be highly valuable to have officers or technical staff from your university’s European Project Office attend the event, so that they may network and establish a basis for future cooperation and improvement.
Accordingly, the event is open to everyone, particularly researchers who intend to present an idea for a funding proposal and who are seeking partners to form a consortium. Likewise, attendees are welcome to meet other EULiST colleagues with shared areas of interest.
We hope this event will be of interest to you, that it will help to strengthen research collaboration within the EULiST Alliance, and that it will assist in preparing consortia to submit successful European project proposals.
Before proceeding with registration, we kindly ask you to contact your Local Coordinator at your home university (https://eulist.university/contact-us/). They will be able to guide you through the internal process and provide further instructions.
Please, do not hesitate to contact me for further clarification.
